  • Irregular geometry, installation details, breakage, joints, laps, openings or supplier pack rules can change the actual order quantity.

Common questions

Why does ToolLott round some quantities up?

Items sold as whole boards, sheets, packs, boxes or panels cannot normally be ordered as fractions, so the tool rounds those purchase quantities upward.

Should I always use the default waste allowance?

No. Use an allowance appropriate to the material, layout, cutting pattern, site conditions and supplier guidance.

Can I use the result as a purchase order quantity?

Use it as a planning check, then confirm dimensions, product coverage/density and supplier pack sizes before ordering.
