Temperature conversion method
Temperature scales have different zero points as well as different degree sizes, so ToolLott converts through an absolute Kelvin value using affine formulas rather than multiplying by one constant.

Does conversion change the physical quantity?
No. It expresses the same quantity in a different unit.
Why can the displayed value contain many decimals?
Some unit ratios are not terminating decimals. ToolLott calculates with browser numeric precision and rounds only for display.
